The ASCP Midwest Regional Meeting has been providing cutting edge educational offerings for 29 years, allowing you to enhance your pharmacy career and expand your practice.

ASCP Safety and Sanitation Measures

In an effort to protect our attendees from COVID-19 and other communicable diseases, ASCP will:

  1. Require all ASCP staff present to wear masks in public areas.
  2. Work with the hotel to make sure they are following CDC guidelines to create a safe environment.
  3. Post safety and sanitation measures and procedures on our meeting website.
  4. Require all ASCP staff present to have temperatures taken every morning before attendees arrive, any staff with an irregular temperature will be immediately removed.
  5. Ask all attendees to wear masks while in attendance. (ASCP will provide a mask for those who do not have one.)
  6. Sanitize all equipment used by presenter’s A/V equipment between sessions.
  7. Have hand sanitation stations in every meeting room and public spaces.
  8. Work with the hotel to make sure all meeting surfaces are sanitized between sessions.
  9. Ensure that meeting seating is appropriately distanced.
  10. Work with hotel to ensure that all food and beverage options are served and presented according to CDC guidelines.
  11. Provide appropriate signage to remind and encourage the following of guidelines in the meeting space and rooms.

Highlights

  • Earn up to 11 hours of continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits for attending the entire meeting.
  • Earn up to 3 hours of BCGP recertification credits. BCGP sessions are marked with an asterisk (*) from the session titles. There is a post-test associated with these sessions. Per the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), all pharmacists seeking BCGP Recertification have ONE attempt to achieve a 70% or higher on the 10-question post-test.
  • Network with senior care professionals, exhibitors, and other industry partners
  • Focus on clinical and applied topics to help advance your practice

Parking

Parking for overnight guests is based on availability in the attached garage for Doubletree South Bend. Parking for ASCP Mid-West Regional Meeting 2020 will be $8.00 with in and out privileges. (Normal parking charges for overnight guests is $15.00 per vehicle, per night with in and out privileges.)

Accreditation

ACPE
The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

To receive continuing pharmacy education credit, participants must attend the activity in its entirety and evaluate the activity online at ascp.com/learn. Log into the ASCP Learning Center through "Access and Purchase Courses" and search for the course "Midwest" located in the active tab. Review the directions and submit the evaluation. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website. CPE credits should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. Evaluations must be completed by September 14, 2020 at 11:59 pm ET.

BCGP Pharmacists: In order for BCGP courses to post to the BPS Portal, your ASCP profile must be updated with your BCGP Credential Number (NOT BPS-IND#) and email address registered with BPS. **Email address must be identical in both accounts.

  • Please note: You will receive an email confirmation when payment is processed.
  • Promotion codes cannot be combined and must be used at the time of purchase.
  • Online registration will close at midnight EST on July 30.
  • All refund requests must be made in writing and postmarked no later than July 23, 2021. A $100 cancellation fee per registrant will be charged. No cancellations will be refunded after July 23, 2021.
  • Due to the educational nature of this program, children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the meeting/session room. This policy is established to avoid disruptions during the programming, reduce liability, and help maintain ASCP’s professional learning environment.

  • Cancellation Policy: Display booths cancelled before July 17, 2021 will be refunded 50% of fee paid. No refunds will be issued for booths cancelled after July 17, 2021.
