The ASCP Midwest Regional Meeting has been providing cutting edge educational offerings for 29 years, allowing you to enhance your pharmacy career and expand your practice. This year’s meeting returns to McDonalds University at the Hyatt Lodge in Oakbrook, Illinois.
Starting Friday evening, July 13, 2018 through Sunday, July 15, 2018 at noon, the 29th Annual Midwest ASCP Regional Meeting will provide 12.75 hours of continuing education on palliative care, diabetes, heart failure in addition to our regular ASCP, legislative and new drug updates. New this year is a comprehensive Saturday afternoon program on Falls.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with colleagues as well as get information on new pharmaceutical products and technologies during the trade show on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
Reservations for the Event will be made by individual attendees directly with Hyatt reservations online here. You may also book your room by directly calling the reservations center at 888-421-1442 and asking for the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. The group rate is $165 per night, plus tax. Reservations must be made on or before Friday, June 15, 2018.

A GLP-1 RA Treatment Option from Eli Lilly and Company
This program is sponsored by and the speaker is presenting on behalf of Lilly USA, LLC. It is being presented consistent with FDA guidelines and is not approved for continuing education credit.
This program will discuss a GLP-1 receptor agonist indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control for specific patients. Join a discussion on the efficacy and safety of this therapy, and obtain information on dosing and administration. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the faculty questions about the data presented and refreshments will be provided.

Pharmacist CE: Attendees can earn a maximum of 12 contact hours (1.2 CEU’s) for verified participation in the educational programming of the Midwest ASCP regional meeting.
PharmCon is approved by the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. To receive credit, participants must legibly print their name and initial the roster at each session attended. Statements of credit for attended programs can be accessed on-line at www.pharmcon.com. Please allow 7-10 days following the program before retrieving your certificate.
The ASCP-NCOA Companion Falls Program will earn attendees 4.0 hours (0.4 CEUs) of CE through ASCP. The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
To receive continuing pharmacy education credit, participants must attend the program in its entirety and evaluate the program online at ascp.com/learn. Log into the ASCP Learning Center through "Access and Purchase Courses" and search for the course "Midwest" or find it under the "Live Activities" tab. Review the directions and submit the evaluation. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website. Evaluations must be completed by September 11, 2018 at 11:59 pm.
